Grade 9 Basketball Player Named State Athlete of the Week
Grade 9 basketball player Julianna Walker was named State Athlete of the Week by the Washington Interscholastic Acvitities Association for the week of December 3-9. The award honors best athletic performances of 12 student-athletes each week in the state of Washington.
On December 5 the Upper School for Girls basketball team opened the season by defeating league rival Overlake 60-53 in the Kemper Gym. Julianna, a point guard, finished the game with a school-record 43 points. The Gators currently have a 4-1 record.
