Middle School

Athletics

At Annie Wright, we believe it is important for the physical, mental and emotional development of Middle School students to participate in physical activity. Our exceptional teachers and coaches encourage participation and fun through a range of options, a no-cut philosophy and four seasons of athletic offerings.
Annie Wright is a founding member of the Middle Nisqually League for sport competitions that closely mirrors our Upper School programming. Continuity between the Middle School and the Upper Schools is a foundation to developing high-caliber student-athletes. Middle School programs focus on the skills and philosophies necessary to excel in Middle School sports and assist in the transition into our Upper Schools varsity programs. To support this transition, many Upper School varsity coaches either coach or train with our Middle School athletes.
