Grade 4 Athlete Excels in Wrestling & Football

Grade 4 athlete Raiden Calcote and the Parkland Raiders finished the football season as 4th grade GPSY (Greater Puget Sound Youth) football league champions. The Raiders defeated the Federal Way Hawks 12-0 at the Stadium bowl. The Raiders final record for the season was 12 wins and zero losses. The team's two year combined record is 23-0. Raiden has played for the Raiders for two years, contributing at cornerback, linebacker, wide receiver, and tight end.

Raiden also recently attended a wrestling clinic put on by Olympic wrestling hopeful, Kyle Dake. Kyle completed his collegiate career at Cornell University and is now training to represent the US in the 2020 Summer Olympics. Raiden learned wrestling moves, situational drills, nutrition and the mental aspects of competition.
