Treat Yourself to Musical Evenings at Annie Wright
PIANIST GEOFFREY BURLESON & STUART HAKE: NOVEMBER 7
Internationally acclaimed pianist and teacher Geoffrey Burleson, professor at Hunter College and Princeton University, will present a recital accompanied by Stuart Hake on the cello November 7 at 7:00 pm in the Great Hall. The program will feature jazz standards, solo piano works by Saint-Saens and Liszt, the Barber Cello Sonata, and a Ginastera Rhapsody for cello and piano.
UPPER SCHOOL CONCERT: NOVEMBER 10
The Upper School Music Department presents a fall concert on Thursday, November 10 at 7:00 pm in the Great Hall. Both the orchestra and chorus will perform. Yellow Tie senior Aurora Hake will also perform the third movement of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto for which she recently won the Tacoma Youth Symphony Concerto Competition. Admission is free.
