Yellow Tie Class of '13 Rower Kadie Brown Wins National Championship
As part of the Commencement Bay Rowing Club's Women's Youth 4+ (four with coxswain) team, Kadie Brown claimed the championship title at the US Rowing Youth National Championships held in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, June 8 -10, with a first place finish time of 7:22.1. As part of the club's Women's Youth 2- (pair without coxswain), Kadie and her partner claimed 5th in the nation. The Youth National Championship Regatta had over 1,500 athletes in attendance from over 150 rowing programs.
