On Thursday April 18, eight members of the Annie Wright faculty attended the fourth annual Jolita Hylland Benson education lecture at Pacific Lutheran University. The group started the evening with dinner at the home of Dr. Krise, the new president of PLU. Due to a family emergency, the scheduled speaker had to cancel, so the group heard Dr. Wicks from Seattle Pacific University speak on "Massively Open Online Courses (MOOCs) as False Idols: Staying True to Your Institutional Mission During Challenging Times."

 

The Annie Wright faculty members who attended the lecture were: Susan Bauska, Liz Borgen, Jake Guadnola, Carolyn Lyson, Dianne Matthaei, Joe Romano, Emily Stokes, and Emily Weston.
