The Washington Music Educators Association held its annual All-State/All Northwest Conference and Honors Ensemble Festival over Presidents' Day weekend in Portland and Vancouver. Annie Wright was represented by Upper School cellist Savannah Langworthy and Middle School violinists Lauren Thomas and Aurora Hake. Participants were selected based on recorded auditions submitted last October and represent the best young players in the state. All three of our musicians were enjoying their second straight year at the festival.

The Middle School honors ensemble rehearsed for five hours Saturday, performing their concert the same day as their first rehearsal. The High School group began rehearsals on Thursday and performed Sunday performing works by Tchaikovsky and Berlioz. Congratulations to these talented and hard working Gators!!
