Three Annie Wright 2nd Graders, Madisen Harkins, Olivia Burrington and Adia Carei, were recently honored by the Tacoma Humane Society for their generosity. Back in March, all three girls celebrated their birthdays together. They wanted to do something special in lieu of birthday presents, so they took donations for the Tacoma Humane Society. Altogether the girls were able to raise $187; $87 of it went to a farm that takes in injured farm animals, and the other $100 went to the Humane Society.
