Congratulations to sophomore Aquene Kimmel '14 who has received the GSA Student Leader of the Year award from the Washington branch of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network). Kimmel is chair of the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) council at Annie Wright Upper School. "It's not just a big deal for me," she exclaims. "It also brings further legitimacy and attention to our GSA, which I think is great news for the whole school."
