Fifth graders William and Christian Poulsen competed in the East Coast Blue Ridge Invitational for inline skating in Roanoke, Virginia over Presidents' Weekend. They competed against 32 teams representing the eastern half of the United States. William tied for first place in individuals in his age group, and the Poulsen brothers together placed second in three different relays and third in another. The competition was fierce as some of the skaters in their age bracket are two years older than the Poulsens. They are now preparing to compete at Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska in July.
