Gator Athletics, December Update

Upper School Cross Country
Logan H. ’22 became the first ever Upper School for Boys student to compete at the State Championships. Logan finished 13th at the District Championship race, which qualified him for the State Championship race in Pasco on November 6.

Logan and Jazzy S. ’22 both earned 2nd Team on the Nisqually All-League Cross Country Teams.

Upper School for Girls Soccer
The Gators qualified for the District playoffs for the first time in school history.

The entire team earned the Team Sportsmanship Award, Lauren C. ’23 earned 1st Team, Avah S. ’25 and Ruth L. ’22 both earned 2nd Team and Sophie N. ’24 earned Honorable Mention on the Nisqually All-League Girls Soccer Team. 
 
Upper School for Boys Tennis
As a team, the Gators finished 2nd overall in the District Tournament. Jacob O. ’23 won the singles District Championship and heads to State in May as the number 1 overall seed.

Jacob earned 1st Team and Justus H. ’23 and Asher S. ’23 earned 2nd Team on the Nisqually All-League Tennis Teams.

Upper School for Girls Volleyball
The Gators took 4th place at State, matching the best team finish in Gator history and bringing home a top 4 trophy for the first time in Gator Volleyball history. Read more here

Kamalani E. ’23, Tara H. ’22 and Rae W. ’23 earned 1st Team, Isabella I. ’23 earned 2nd Team and Kiran H. ’23 and Malia O. ’24 earned Honorable Mention on the Nisqually All-League Volleyball Team.

Jazzy S. ’22 Commits
Congratulations to Red Tie Jazzy S. ’22 who has committed to attend and play women's basketball for College of Charleston. Jazzy, who earned a full-ride scholarship, signed her letter of intent on November 10 in the Kemper Gym. Read more here

Lauren A. ’23 Swims to State 
Congratulations to Green Tie Lauren A. ’23! Lauren and her swim team at Stadium High School qualified for the WIAA 3A finals at King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, in which Lauren competed in the 200 Medley Relay, the 200 Free Relay, individual 50 freestyle and the 400 Free Relay. Lauren was also selected by her teammates to serve as the team captain next year when she is a senior! 
 
Coming Up in December
Basketball has started for Lower School, Middle School Boys and both Upper School.  Meanwhile, it is soccer season for Middle School Girls. 

Join us for the varsity Game of the Month on December 7 in the Kemper Gym when the Gators take on Seattle Christian! Upper School for Boys play at 5:30 pm and Upper School for Girls Varsity play at 7:00 pm.
