Green Tie Nadine Gibson ’23 has been selected to receive a 2021-2022 National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) scholarship. NSLI-Y is a program of the U.S. government through the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. American Councils for International Education manages the overall operations of the scholarship program.

NSLI-Y programs provide intensive language immersion in a variety of locations around the world. Nadine's scholarship is for the Chinese (Mandarin) 2021 NSLI-Y summer program, which will be implemented virtually due to the impact  of the COVID-19 pandemic.
