Annie Wright Destination Imagination Students Qualify for State
Four teams of AWS students have qualified for the Washington State Destination Imagination Creative Problem Solving Finals. The AWeSome Armadillos in the Middle Level Fine Arts challenge, D.I.versity in the Elementary Improvisational challenge, the Dark Dragons in the Elementary Structural challenge, and the DIscoverers in the Scientific challenge. The DIscoverers also received the Renaissance Award for design, engineering, execution, or performance.
The Turnip Turtles placed third in the Elementary Fine Arts challenge, and (Insert Name Here)* placed 2nd in the Middle Level Improvisational challenge. Second place teams sometimes receive invitations to the State Finals after all Regional Tournaments have been held the the State rankings are complete.
