The ten members of the Upper School Science Team competed Saturday in the South Sound Regional Science Fair at PLU. Nearly 500 projects were entered by students representing 90 schools.
Blue Tie Class of '16 student Cecilia Black earned first place for her project "The Green Flash: Understanding Light Transmittance in the Ocean" in the Physics and Astronomy category. She also won the American Meteorological Society Outstanding Achievement Award.
