The Rotary Club of Tacoma #8 has awarded Yellow Tie Class of '13 student Danele Alampay a $1,000 scholarship. The Rotary Scholarship Committee selects the scholarship recipients after reviewing their applications and interviewing the students; only two nominees per school are considered. The scholarships are made payable directly to the institution the student has chosen to attend and may be used for tuition and/or academic supplies.

Danele will be honored at the Club's weekly luncheon on Thursday, May 30, 12:00 - 1:30 pm, at the Landmark Theater, 47 Saint Helens Ave in Tacoma. Congratulations Danele!
