Gators Rock the You Go Girl Race

Lisa Isenman
Gator faculty, staff, parents and students turned up last weekend in official race shirts, school skirts, tutus, gator hats and wide smiles to represent Annie Wright Schools in the You Go Girl! 10K and Half Marathon to benefit the YWCA. Not only did they look great and show their spirit, but also they performed amazingly in both events. Out of 572 women in the 10K, Upper School teacher Bridgette McGoldrick came in 7th overall and 1st in her age division (edging her husband John McGoldrick, who came in 1st out of 17 men). Bridgette was followed closely by Upper School student Emma Salam, who was 8th overall and 2nd in her division. In the half-marathon, Upper School teacher Joe Romano came in 1st out of 19 men, followed by Middle School teacher David Gardner in 2nd and Annie Wright dad Tom Keskey (with tutu AND alligator hat) in 5th. Tom's daughter, Upper School student Zoe Keskey, came in 2nd in her division, running with 468 women overall. YOU GO GATORS!
