Congratulations to the Annie Wright teams that qualified and participated in the Destination ImagiNation (DI) creative problem-solving state tournament at Eastmont Junior High in East Wenatchee on Saturday, March 31.

Among the eighty-two teams competing, Annie Wright's elementary level "Solar Stage" team, managed by Julia Carnell, placed 2nd in the Scientific challenge, our elementary level "Coming Attractions" team, managed by Emily Russell placed 3rd in the Fine Arts Challenge, and received the Renaissance Award for Outstanding Design, Engineering, Execution, or Performance. Our middle school level "News to Me" team also managed by Julia Carnell placed 5th in the Improv challenge.

The teams, team managers, and parents all did a fantastic job representing Annie Wright Schools and the Rainier Region at this event.
