AWS fifth grade twins William and Christian Poulsen competed in an eight state in-line skating competition January 14-16, each bringing home multiple medals.

The boys earned four medals in relays - two gold and two silver - including a gold medal they won together in the two-person relay. They also took home medals in individual events - each earning one gold, one silver and two bronze. William finished as the overall winner in his age group.

In February, the Poulsen brothers will compete in another multi-state event in Roanoke, Virginia.
