Several Annie Wright Upper School students attended the Pacific Model United Nations Conference on November 7 & 8 in Seattle. Model UN is offered as a (s)Elective at AWS, aiming to increase students' political awareness and activism. The group participates in Model UN conferences and engages in global issues. 

In addition to attending, two students earned awards at the conference.

• Lauren Cook ’23 earned Outstanding Delegate (UNODC) United Kingdom
• Wilson Dicks ’25 earned Best Position Paper (WHO) North Korea
