Gator Athletics, November Update

Upper School for Girls

Soccer lost a competitive district playoff game on James Memorial Field last Friday, October 29, versus East Jefferson, ending their season. This was the first ever district playoff appearance for the USG soccer team.

Volleyball hosts Bellevue Christian on Thursday, November 4, in the district semifinals. Come cheer on the Gators in the Kemper Gym at 6:00 pm for the Game of the Month! 

Upper School for Boys
Cross Country runner Logan Hancock ’22  heads to the state championship in Pasco on Saturday, November 6, after qualifying for at the district championships at Chambers Bay over the weekend. Logan will become the FIRST EVER USB student to compete in a state championship competition!
 
Tennis will send six players to the district championships on Thursday and Friday, November 4 and 5. The top two singles and doubles from districts will qualify for state in May. Jacob Oie ’23 is the #1 singles seed and finished the season undefeated (another USB first!). Other players competing this week are Justus Haag ’24, Owen Hayes ’22, Shu Sasaki ’23, Kepler Stanley-Hunt ’23 and Asher Stuart ’24. 
 
Middle School 
Girls soccer and boys basketball started last week. They will have their first contests next week.
 
Lower School
Soccer is wrapping up over the next two weeks.
