Dear fellow Annie Wright Alumni,

I am looking forward to taking on my new role as President of the Annie Wright Alumni Board for 2013-2014. The alumni board has worked hard over the years to foster connections among Annie Wright alumni, share knowledge of school traditions, and to engage alumni in the life of the AWS community. Among the many innovations we have planned for this year, one that I am especially pleased to announce moving forward is the launch of our new Annie Wright Schools Global Alumni Board.

Students not only come from around the world to study at Annie Wright; they also embark to destinations across the globe as they go on to do great things after graduation. Whether you are in Tacoma or in Tokyo, the Global Alumni Board allows you to gather and connect with other Annies in your area. We currently have plans to launch our initial branches of the Board in the following cities (with more to come):

Thanks to the Global Alumni Board, Annies will be able to meet at various events where they can learn both what their fellow alums are doing and what is happening back at Annie Wright Schools. Several such events have already been planned for the upcoming year, so stay tuned for information on when one will be coming to your area!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns or if you would like to become involved with this exciting new community. There are local as well as long-distance opportunities to volunteer on committees supporting the work of the board. I look forward to working with you as we build and maintain Annie Wright friendships around the world!
