Exciting Travel Opportunities for Annie Wright Students
Annie Wright is offering two new travel opportunities for students in our Middle and Upper Schools (Grades 6-12): a spring break 2018 trip to China and a summer 2018 trip to Iceland.
SPRING BREAK 2018 CHINA TRIP
SPRING BREAK 2018 CHINA TRIP
- WHO: Middle and Upper School Students, accompanied by Annie Wright faculty. We need five students for the trip to run.
- WHAT: A 10 day trip to Beijing, Xi'an, and Shanghai. The trip includes cultural experiences including Chinese cooking, calligraphy, lunch with a family and visit a school to connect with local students.
- WHEN: Spring Break - March 22-31, 2018.
- COST: $3,664 per student. Payment plans are available.

SUMMER 2018 ICELAND TRIP
Middle and Upper school students have the opportunity to go to Iceland in June, 2018. This nine day science-based trip is led by Ms. Emma Hartmann and Ms. Niki Taylor. While in Iceland, students will explore nature reserves, national parks, waterfalls, and volcanoes. Some highlights of the trip include exploring Reykjavik, visiting Heimaey’s “Pompeii of the North” and Eldborg volcano, seeing Europe’s largest glacier and the Dyrholaey Puffin Reserve, and visiting Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon. More information will follow over the summer, and an informational meeting will occur shortly after school begins in the fall. A discounted rate for the trip will be available until October 1.
