Two Middle School Swimmers Selected to Represent the Northwest
Middle Schoolers Lauren Arnold and Pauline Deng have been selected to represent Pacific Northwest Swimming in the Western Zone Age Group Championship held this summer at the Roseville Aquatics Center in Roseville, CA, August 8-12.
Lauren and Pauline are two of 48 swimmers ages 11-14 (24 girls & 24 boys) to represent the Pacific Northwest USA Swimming is divided into four zones: Eastern, Central, Southern and Western. Each zone holds championship invitational meets at the end of the winter and summer seasons for select age group swimmers that have met time standards and a rigorous application process within that zone. Lauren and Pauline will be swimming against the best swimmers from the entire Western Zone - WA, OR, CA, AZ, NM, NV, UT, ID, MT, HA and AK.
