MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS

Central to the educational philosophy in Grades 6-8 is the idea of balance and healthy living. The primary goal of the physical education experience is for all students to have a positive experience in an environment of good sportsmanship. Annie Wright has a no-cut policy for teams, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate.

Students have three choices each athletic season. They may participate in:
  1. a team sport
  2. a specialized physical activity - options include yoga, swim, and fitness training
Grades 6-8 Team Sports

Through varsity and junior varsity teams competing against local peer middle schools, Annie Wright athletics offer opportunities for players of all skill levels. Whether the goal is to win a league championship or simply learn a new game, AWS athletics provide the appropriate degree of challenge and support.
