Annie Wright Students Win Model UN Awards

Three Annie Wright students won awards at last weekend's Pacific Northwest Model United Nations conference in Seattle with more than 700 delegates from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California and Canada. 

Senior Jessica Zou was awarded best position paper for the Constitutional Convention Committee. Honorable mentions went to senior Raven Chen for her position paper on the Historical Crisis Committee and to sophomore Anya Coughlin for the position of Japan on the United Nations Environment Program committee.

Sixteen girls from the Model United Nations/Global Action (s)Elective strongly represented Annie Wright Schools.
