Students learn the technical side of photography, from taking pictures to printing on the school's archival printer. More importantly they learn about building a persuasive image, what goes into a great photograph and how images can impact lives. Students showcase their photography at school, online at jpgmag.com and participate in exhibitions in local eateries. The activity plays host to visiting artists and goes on filed trips to local studios and museums.
