Welcome to Summer at Annie Wright Schools, where we encourage kids to be kids!

The range of choices of our summer program balance play with learning and give children the opportunity to practice skills and experiences they may not have time for during the school year. We believe that active kids are kids who continue to learn—but we know that learning looks different when the sun shines in the Pacific Northwest!

Summer@Annie Wright consists of our Camp Wright, Camp Junior and Specialty Camp programs - and is open to students from ANY school.

Camp Wright is for students entering Grades 1-8 in the 2017-2018 school year. Campers spend their days rotating through  different activities ranging from educational stations (math, reading, and science) to arts and crafts to lawn games. Every week, we welcome a different local guest artist who meets with campers four to five times per week. We break campers into grade-based groups of approximately 15-25 students. Each group has its own counselor and assistant counselor, as well as assitance from youth volunteers. Small groups equal great relationships.

Camp Junior is open to students entering Preschool (ages 3+, must be potty-trained and able to feed themselves), Prekindergarten and Kindergarten in the 2017-2018 school year. Camp Junior provides the youngest campers with a summer experience tailored exactly to their needs. Lower student-to-counselor ratios, just-right sized tables and chairs, quiet time and engaging learning stations make Camp Junior the perfect place for your youngster this summer. In addition to fun crafts and activities, campers swim two to three times per week.
June 19-August 18 (closed July 4 and will run a 4-day camp that week). Registration is week by week.
Camp Wright for Grades 1-8 costs $235 per week. Camp Junior for Preschool-Kindergarten costs $250 per week. Specialty camps range in price. Please see below. Payment plans are available if registered by May 31.
Camp Wright & Camp Wright Jr. have the same hours, which are 7:30 am-5:30 pm. Structured programming runs 8:30 am-4:30 pm; supervised free play happens outside of these hours. Please note: there is a $1 per minute late fee charged for every minute after 5:30 pm that a child is under the supervision of Camp Wright staff. When you register your camper(s), there is an option to add late pick-up.
A snack is offered, but campers are welcome to bring their own snacks. Campers must bring their own lunch from home.
Specialty Camps allow campers to pursue their passions more deeply. These theme-based camps are all led by fabulous Specialty Camp Instructors. Specialty camps include: residential camps, student leadership (Middle School), computer science, outdoor education, fan-based clubs, cooking, math, theatre, athletics, community service, Safesitter courses, Counselor in Training, arts, crafts, and design. For a full list of available specialty camps, please see registration.
Every week there are morning Specialty Camps (9:00 am-12:00 pm) and afternoon Specialty Camps (1:00 pm-4:00 pm).  Most morning camps are offered for the Littles (campers entering Grades 1-3) and most afternoon camps are offered for the Bigs (campers entering Grades 4-8). This schedule allows campers who are also attending Camp Wright to attend all swim sessions. Most Specialty Camps run for one week, Monday-Friday (exception made for weeks Camp Wright is only open for 4 days). Some Specialty Camps run all day or for more than a week. Descriptions are available here
Specialty Camps are all priced differently. Typically, they cost between $200-$400. Some camps may be more expensive because of supply fees. If you purchase either a morning or afternoon Specialty Camp, you can add Camp Wright for only $99. By making this wise investment, your child receives nearly all that Camp Wright provides.
Drop-off & pick-up will now take place at the Kemper Center. This is ideal for chilly mornings and rainy days!

*We have increased our pricing slightly due to the minimum wage increase.
REFUND POLICY: NO REFUNDS. All sales are final. No exchanges for Specialty Camps. Exchanges for Camp Wright & Camp Jr. are available during the same summer on a space-available basis.
