Destination Imagination Team Wins State & Heads to Globals

The 'D.I.sco Sloths' Destination Imagination team, which includes Grade 4 students Lexie Crist, Eliza Hall, Tessa and Leoni Pendras, and Daciana Reyna, beat eight other teams from across the state to win their division, the elementary level science challenge, at the Washington State DI competition last weekend. They received the top scores in both the main challenge and the instant challenge portion of their competition. Additionally they received the DaVinci Award, the most prestigious award offered by DI, for their creative solution to the challenge. The team now heads to the Global DI competition in Knoxville, TN, where they will compete with 1400 other teams from 15 countries.
