Freshman Jacob Oie Earns a Place at State

Freshman tennis player Jacob Oie became the first Annie Wright Upper School boy to earn a place at a state athletic competition today. He defeated his opponent in straight sets (6-3, 8-6) today to win the district tournament with a 4-1 record. He is currently the Nisqually League #2 seed.

Annie Wright Upper School for Boys was established in 2017 as a parallel high school experience to the Upper School for Girls. Jacob, who has attended Annie Wright Schools since he was three, will go on to State in Yakima, Washington, in May.
