Welcome to the Middle School

Annie Wright Middle School offers a rich and engaging education, where students thrive in a program with international standards of excellence. Our faculty are passionate about the Middle School years and enjoy helping tweens and teens navigate this period of self-discovery as they prepare for high school and beyond.
The Middle School offers a captivating program that provides:

  • a place where being smart and engaged is not only accepted - it's cool
  • a community that honors individual qualities and where kindness is a priority
  • small classes - teachers really know your child
  • competitive team sports beginning in 6th Grade
  • performance opportunities in theater, orchestra, rock band and more
  • international travel opportunities
  • strong preparation and support in the transition to Upper School

The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, enhanced by our approach to character and social-emotional growth, fosters the development of skills for communication, intercultural understanding, and global engagement, qualities that are essential for life in the 21st century. We invite you to learn more about the Annie Wright spirit—the friendliness, the feeling of belonging, and the shared commitment of learning together in a dynamic community where students make connections that last a lifetime.
