Upper School for Boys

The Upper School for Boys athletics program addresses physical fitness, team play and good sportsmanship. Our faculty and coaches identify and support each boy’s individual aptitude and skills, whether he is an elite athlete or has never played a team sport. Opportunities both in and out of school will specifically address the athletic goals of each individual.

The physical education program integrates exercise into the academic school day and offers an opportunity for all incoming boys to learn fencing. Team sports will grow as the program expands, starting with basketball and ultimate. Golf, with access to beautiful courses, state-of-the-art facilities and a top-tier coach, is also available for individuals. More sports, for example soccer and flag football, will evolve with increased enrollment, and team sports not offered at Annie Wright are accessible at local high schools.
