UPPER SCHOOL TRIPS & RETREATS

Getting off campus to learn, grow, bond, meet new challenges and experience the wonders of the Pacific Northwest is an important element of Annie Wright Upper School's program. Here is a sampling of our offerings:

GRADE 9 ROCK TRIP
In the spring, 9th graders make a class expedition to go Rock Climbing. This three-day experience, facilitated by YMCA's Passages Program, is designed to nurture responsibility, communication, and collaboration.

GRADE 10 RETREAT
A retreat in every sense of the word, held on the Key Peninsula at scenic Camp Seymour.  The weekend celebrates these young women and their identities, values and appreciation of one another.

GRADE 11 COLLEGE TRIP
The entire Junior class hops aboard a chartered bus and heads south, embarking on a tour of West Coast colleges.

DAY TRIPS
Faculty and/or student groups often spearhead day trips to play in the great outdoors, including kayaking, hiking, biking, skiing and more.
