Upper School for Boys
Annie Wright Schools are excited to announce a new program for high school boys beginning in the fall of 2017. Predicated on the exceptional academic program of Annie Wright's Upper School for Girls but specifically designed for the way boys learn, the Upper School for Boys will draw on Annie Wright’s rich traditions while providing inquiry-based and innovative programs.

While academic classes will be separated by gender, boys and girls will have opportunities for intersection, including arts and social events. The program will start in thoughtfully refurbished classrooms, lounges and dorm rooms in our current building and in their own off-site but nearby location to provide a sense of belonging to both the entire Annie Wright community and their own all-boys’ cohort. Plans are in place for a new academic building for the Upper School for Boys on our current campus by 2019.

The program will start with Grade 9 in the 2017-18 school year and will add a grade each year. Come learn about the opportunity for your son to be a pioneer of this new program, which offers the best of both worlds with single-gender academics on a mixed gender campus. The first classes will have the unique opportunity, through a specially designed course in architecture and design, to immerse themselves in real world problem-solving and help shape the Upper School for Boys’ facilities, program and traditions for decades to come.
