Four Gator Athletes Place at State
Four Annie Wright Upper School spring athletes placed at State competitions, three in track & field and one in golf.
In track & field, all three state athletes placed in the top five. Senior Virginia Miller placed 3rd in javelin, senior Annika Cederstrand placed 4th in javelin, and sophomore Anna Haddad placed 5th in the 800 meters.

Three Annie Wright golfers, freshman Yoon Ji Kim, freshman Abby Givens and sophomore Minyi Jiang, also competed in the state tournament. Abby won the league tournment and placed third at State. In addition, Mike Givens won coach of the year, and the team won the sportsmanship award.
