Grade 4 Goalie Helps Her Club Team Win Soccer Tournament
Grade 4 student Avah Snodgrass and her Washington Premier Football Club team participated in the Pac NW Winter Classic Jan 6-8. Avah’s team won 3 and tied 1 game, which took them to championship game Sunday. The match ended in a 0-0 draw and so was followed by a shootout round to determine the winner of the tournament. Avah and her team won the shootout 4-2, making them the champion team of the Pac NW Winter Classic. Avah was given the game ball by her teammates for helping them win the tournament weekend as their goalie.
