Destination Imagination team does it again!
The Disco Sloths Destination Imagination team, including Grade 6 students Eliza Hall, Leoni Pendras, Tessa Pendras, and Daciana Reyna, faced stiff competition from older middle school students at the Destination Imagination State competition on March 30 in Kennewick, WA, but succeeded in placing second in the Science category. For the third time, the team earned their place at Globals, this year in Kansas City, Missouri, on May 22.
Destination Imagination is a creative problem solving competition in which teams respond to open-ended academic challenges in STEM, fine arts and service learning. The teams showcase their solutions at regional, state and global tournaments.
