Grade 4 Holds Annual AWS Living Museum

Fourth grade hosted the Annual Living Museum on Tuesday, March 19. Students have learned about the neccessary skills to be an effective historian while investigating the history of Annie Wright Schools. Delving into resources including yearbooks, photos, archives, faculty, staff and alumni, students learn about and then present their subject of choice. Today’s museum included everything from traditions to the evolution of women’s education and equal rights at AWS, and everything in between!

Not only did students show off their research skills and fact findings, the presentation of their subject matter impressed attendees. One student who researched the history of AWS libraries, dressed up as book and roamed around the museum displaying the facts he donned. Some utilized Prezi to display their timelines, and others created games or take-aways. Can't wait to see what the next Living Museum holds!
