For Pre-Teens & Their Families
The goal of the “Growing Up” class is to create an opportunity for pre-teens and a parent or trusted adult to receive information in an engaging format and relaxed atmosphere. We emphasize family communication and resources to support young people on their journey through adolescence.
$80 per parent/child pair ($60 per additional child). Scholarship funds available. Each family will receive Dr. Rob and Julie’s book, Will Puberty Last My Whole Life?

6:30 to 8:30 pm

Deirdre Flynn from FCD Prevention Works, part of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, will present a parent workshop to offer support and guidance in helping children enjoy a drug-free adolescence. Specifically Deirdre will address the rising use of vaping and marijuana in middle and high school youth as well as what parents can do to keep their kids healthy.
