Annie Wright's separate Upper Schools for boys and girls offer day and boarding options in Grades 9 through 12. We offer rich, thoughtful and internationally-recognized programs that welcome students from around the world.
Annie Wright Upper School prepares students extraordinarily well for college, offering small classes, independent-minded peers and an exceptional faculty. An International Baccalaureate World School, Annie Wright has offered the rigorous Diploma Programme, considered the gold standard in international education, for Grades 11-12 since 2009.
Arts are central to the Annie Wright experience, both as part of the academic program and through a host of extra-curricular options. Elective courses, activities and clubs include wide offerings from filmmaking to theatre to orchestra. Visual and performing arts are also crucial to Annie Wright's transdisciplinary IB programming, woven throughout the curricula.
Annie Wright Upper School teachers and coaches harbor a mentality of positivity, teamwork, inspiration, vision and goal-setting. Every Annie Wright student is a Gator, and there is a place on our teams for everyone, regardless of ability level. At the same time, we strive for excellence and set goals to win league championships for every team.
Part of the magic of Annie Wright Schools is what happens outside of class time. We offer a rich and varied range of activities, sports, arts, travel and leadership opportunities, programmed to allow engagement in multiple areas. At the same time we also recognize and value unstructured and relaxing time as essential for students to recharge. From eating a delicious homemade lunch in our beautiful dining hall to exploring the world with peers who share the same passions, Annie Wright offers opportunities for all students to thrive outside the classroom.
