Whether you are an elite club athlete or are new to volleyball, Annie Wright's volleyball program has a place for you.

At the varsity level, our scholar/athletes move from strength to strength. Our highly competitive program drills down to the subtleties of the game: positioning, reaction speed, body control and core strength. As a result, we consistently field one of the state's strongest volleyball teams. Annie Wright varsity players shine on the court AND in the classroom and are recognized and honored by our community, by colleges, and beyond.

At the junior varsity level, our no-cut policy provides opportunities for emerging players to learn the game, hone their skills, experience competitive play and develop deep bonds with teammates.
Jeff Grosshans became head volleyball coach at Annie Wright in 2016, and after an undefeated first season, was named Emerald City League Coach of the Year. Previously Jeff served as head varsity volleyball, bowling and lacrosse coach at Curtis High School and has taught health and fitness to middle school students in University Place since 1999. In addition to working in schools, Jeff has been director of University Place and South Sound Volleyball Clubs. He received his BA from PLU and his MA from Concordia University.
