Yellow Ties Named National Merit® Scholarship Finalists

In September 2020, Annie Wright Schools shared that three Yellow Ties had been named National Merit® Scholarship Semifinalists. All three seniors have now been designated Finalists!

Of more than 1.5 million entrants, approximately 15,000-16,000 students nationwide earned the Finalist distinction based on a set of criteria including grades, test scores and community involvement. Every Finalist is considered for about 7,600 National Merit Scholarships. Recipients will notified in Spring 2021.

Congratulations to Nelson Athow, Eli Dugan and Ava Filiss for their distinguished performance in this well-recognized competition.
