As independent, non-profit institutions, Annie Wright Schools have two primary sources of revenue—tuition and gift support. The schools rely on gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents, trustees, faculty, staff, and friends to ensure that tuition costs remain low and that all students have access to the opportunities available through and Annie Wright education.
The Development Office works to secure charitable contributions for operating and enhancement purposes. Generosity to the school means that for years to come, Annie Wright will be able to fulfill its mission of developing well-educated, responsible citizens for a global society. Contributions are made in a number of ways, and are used to maintain and enrich the programs and services at Annie Wright Schools.

Planned GivingPlanned gifts are tax-advantaged ways to support Annie Wright Schools both today and tomorrow. These gifts include provisions made in donors’ wills, gift annuities, and the establishment of various trust mediums. Planned gifts can be used to establish named endowments fund for the future.

Annie Wright Schools’ scholarships ensure that students can partake in the full independent school experience without having financial burdens. Alleviate students’ financial worries by enabling them to focus on what Annie Wright is really about –strong academics. Capital ProjectsWhile the annual fund maintains current opportunities; capital campaigns promote growth and the expansion of our community. Current capitol priorities include renovating dormitories, restoring Raynor Chapel, and partnering with the Tacoma Lawn Tennis Club to construct a new tennis bubble, allowing the perpetuation of the school's tennis program.
