Central to the educational philosophy of the Upper School is the idea of balance and healthy living. For over 33% of our students, participating in athletics is a way to strike this balance while enjoying the satisfaction of competition and camaraderie.
Through varsity and junior varsity teams competing in the academically minded Emerald City League, AWS athletics offer opportunities for players of all skill levels. Whether the goal is to win a league championship or simply learn a new game, AWS athletics provide the appropriate degree of challenge and support.
