March Madness Begins in December at Annie Wright
Basketball fever is catching in Lower, Middle and Upper Schools starting this month, with competitions for Kindergarten-Grade 12.
Annie Wright Lower School has 76 boys and girls in teams from Kindergarten to Grade 5. A variety of matches against local schools are scheduled for Kindergarten-Grade 3, and Grades 4-5 are competing in the local FUEL league.
Great returning talent makes for a promising Middle School boys' basketball season. Their first game is this afternoon at Heritage Christian.
The Upper School girls, who also have their first game today, host Rainier Christian in the Kemper Gym. The team, strong and long on senior talent, is looking to break the school record for wins this season.
Aside from basketball, the Middle School girls' soccer team opened the season with an 11-0 victory and continues to shine on and off the field.
