7th Grader Wins & Earns MVP at AAU Basketball Tournament

Nicholas Ferencko, seventh grader, participated in an Amateur Athletic Union basketball tournament with his team Top Scholar Elite. The team won this tournament and Nicholas' teammates voted him tournament MVP for his great shooting. Over the course of five games, Nicholas scored 87 points, including nine three-pointers in one game. Winning this tournament means that the team qualifies for the Middle School State Championships in Spokane in March. Go, Nicholas!
