Grade 6 Pauline Deng Takes First in 1,650 Freestyle Swim
Pauline Deng, Grade 6 student, competed in the Pacific Northwest Short Course Championships in December, swimming in the girls 11-12 years old age group. Pauline placed in the following:
Pauline's time for "the mile" is ranked 5th in the nation in the girls 11-year-old age group according to the Swimming USA website. She was also on the teams for 200 medley relay (13th), 400 medley relay (4th), 200 freestyle relay (10th), and 400 freestyle relay (3rd). Way to go, Pauline!
