Mr. McCool is Summer Scholar for National Endowment for the Humanities Study

Upper School social studies teacher Corey McCool has been selected as a summer scholar with the National Endowment for the Humanities. The area of focus is the society, economy and culture of premodern England and Holland, 1600-1750. He will spend five weeks in London, Leiden, and Amsterdam visiting historic sites and museums, researching in libraries, attending symposiums with college professors, and collaborating with 15 other high school teachers from around the United States.

The teachers work together to produce a collection of papers and multi media products integrating history, literature, and art, which will be posted on the NEH website as a resource for teachers around the country.
