Nicholas Ferencko and Tommy Hanly Excel in Major Basketball Tournament
Grade 5 students Nicholas Ferencko and Tommy Hanly, who play basketball for Excel Sports Academy, participated in the Best of the West AAU basketball tournament in Yakima last weekend. This tournament attracts top teams and players from the Pacific Northwest. The team had a record of 4-1 and placed second in 5th Grade Boys Division 1. Nicholas and Tommy scored a combined total of 103 points, and had 41 rebounds and 29 blocks/steals.
