Annie Wright Hosts and Excels in DI Tournament

Annie Wright hosted the 2015 Rainier Regional Destination Imagination (Creative Problem Solving) Tournament last Saturday. Two Annie Wright teams placed first in Division & Challenge and have qualified for the state tournament the weekend of March 28 in Wenatchee.

In addition to placing first, the middle level AWeSome Armadillos also received the Renaissance Award for Outstanding Design, Engineering or Performance. Officials noted seamless integration, continuity and mastery of design and engineering in the team's presentation. Scenery, costumes, and props created an overall thematic design incorporating "Steam Punk" and "Folk Art."
