Three Annie Wright DI Teams Attend State Tournament

Eighty-two qualifying teams gathered at Eastmont Junior High in East Wenatchee on Saturday, March 29, for the Washington State D.I. Team Creative Problem Solving Tournament. Three Annie Wright Day School teams qualified at the Rainier Regional to participate in this tournament. 
 
The Middle School  "Going to Extremes" team, Funky Nerds (Team Manager: Shannon Leenstra), placed 7th in the Middle Level Scientific Challenge. The Middle School "Laugh Art Loud" team, AWeSome ArmaDIllos (Team Manager: Carey Rockey), placed 3rd in the Middle Level Fine Arts Challenge. The Elementary "Pandemonium" team, Majestic Purple People (Team Manager: Keliko Adams), placed 3rd in the Elementary Improvisational Challenge.

Majestic Purple People: Tara Hutchinson, Ava Johannes, Simren Khan, Kayla Linderoth, Anna Parrott, Ella Perrin (Miles Davidson is a member of the team, but was unable to attend).
 
The teams, team managers, and parents did a fantastic job of representing our school and the Rainier Region at this event! Congratulations and thank you to everyone!
